Bikes Patio Furniture Stolen From Homes In Wheaton
WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police are investigating a string of thefts and burglaries that took place at various locations throughout the city in late April. Items reported stolen included bikes, patio furniture and delivered packages, according to a recent police report.
Theft at Whittier School
On April 26, an unattended bike was stolen from the grounds of Whittier School, which is located at 218 W. Park Ave.
Theft in the 1900 block of Ardmore Lane
Sometime between 7 p.m. April 29 and 7 p.m. April 30, a suspect or suspects stole a wicker storage table from the patio at a home near the above location.
Burglary in the 300 block of E. Prairie Avenue
Residents told police that a bright blue Marion Fairfax 1 bike was stolen from their garage sometime between 12 p.m. on April 29 and 5:30 p.m. on April 30.
Burglary in the 400 block of Western Avenue
According to police, a lime green Trek Marlon 5 bike and two skateboards were stolen from the garage of a home sometime between 3:49 p.m. and 4:25 p.m. on April 30.
Theft in the 1600 block of Briarcliffe Boulevard
Patio furniture and decorations were stolen from the patio of an apartment sometime between 3 a.m. and 10 a.m. April 30.
Theft in the 2200 block of Embden Lane
A resident told police that a package was stolen from their porch sometime between 10:05 a.m. and 11 a.m. April 30.
